Art Age
We are a friendly group of artists who...
We are called Snowdonia Art Club, and we are based in Dolwyddelan in the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales. We meet once a month on the first Saturday of the month in the Brush-Strokes studio in Dolwyddelan, where we paint together for a day. Everyone brings their own lunch and plan to arrive at about 10.00 am and leave any time before 5.00 pm! We usually find a really good creative atmosphere builds up, as everyone is painting in different media and styles and we all discuss and chat to each other about what we are doing. In the summer several people elect to paint outside, as the scenery around us is so stunning and easily accessible!
We also have a few other activities during the year. We always have a Club Lunch in the Spring, this year it will be in April, and we are still researching a suitable venue for this. We are also planning a critique from an artist who was Head of an Art College and who has been to us once before, and a coach trip to the Tate Modern in Liverpool.
