York and District SAA covers an area of North Yorkshire 10 to 20 miles North and South of York. We have a very active membership of about 120. We run two workshops each month, trying to provide for different preferences so cover Watercolour, acrylics, coloured pencils, silk painting, oils and mixed media. Our workshops are a good experience with a splendid lunch provided and a real friendship between members. Places have to be booked quickly when the Programme comes out three times a year.

Last year we celebrated our 10th anniversary with a special A.G.M Meeting and a birthday cake.

We hold two exhibitions each year in the Town Hall at Wetherby and always have successful sales.
