Judy Boyt MA FRBS SEA
Submitted by Judy Boyt and S... on Mon, 08/08/2011 - 19:55Sculpture, drawing and teaching how to look and work from the live animal and figurative world. Judy worked firstly in the ceramic design business under such names as Wedgwood, Boehm and Border Fine Art - but turned to working in metals - cast bronze mainly from small to very large monumental bronzes sited in places such as London, Epsom, Cheltenham, Morpeth and Windsor. Judy designed and sculpted The world famous Mitsubishi Badminton Horse Trials Silver Trophy. Her drawings are teh starting point and key for many of her works - this is where she learns all about the subject's character, shape and anatomy that ultimately make her sculptures have impact and 'breathe'.
