About Our meetings: Our indoor meetings comprise a mix of working sessions and workshops, both led by individual members, and occasional demonstrations by visiting professional artists. Outdoor meetings offer an opportunity for members to paint in company with others at a variety of locations in the Dorchester area. These include visits to villages, farms, gardens and open countryside.
About our Membership : The membership currently comprises about 200 of which a dozen or so are honorary members. The membership includes a mix of professional artists and leisure painters of various levels of experience.
How to Join: Apply to the Membership Secretary, using the form which can be completed, then printed, on the DAC website.
Topics Covered: We encourage all members to practice their art by attending our autumn and winter season of twice-weekly indoor meetings, and during the summer season meetings at locations outdoors. Members enjoy special rates when entering the annual Members' Exhibition, and they are also encouraged to enter the annual Open Exhibition.
