We are running two lecture programmes in the New Year on Wednesday evenings. Focusing on a hundred years of French Impressionism, looking at artists such as Monet, Delecroix, Manet and Degas, exploring this popular subject, the artists and how they produced their work.

Bangor Art Club was founded in 1952 by a number of enthusiastic amateur artists. Not having their own premises at the timethey met in various locations around the town. In 1986 they purchased the local girl guide hall as they were moving, we have been thriving ever since.
